BREAKDOWN: Victor Uyaelunmo (oo-ya-loo-moe) is a 6-foot-11, 220-pound forward who is long and athletic and can affect the game on both sides of the court. He is an excellent shot blocker and a skilled scorer in the paint.
2018-19: Uyaelunmo appeared in 28 games, making his first three career starts, and averaged 0.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Started the opener vs. Robert Morris on Nov. 6 and had three rebounds in eight minutes of action. Scored his first point of the season by making 1 of 2 free throws vs. Missouri State on Nov. 20. He scored a career-best six points vs. Southern Utah on Dec. 21. He made his second start and had a block and rebound at Stanford on Feb. 13. He made his final start at California on Feb. 16 and scored two points, had four rebounds and a block. Grabbed a career-best eight rebounds and scored two points at Colorado on March 9.

HIGH SCHOOL: Uyaelunmo played the 2016-17 season at Calvary Christian Academy in Miami, Fla. and helped lead his team to a 23-6 record and the state 5A title. In the 65-48 championship win over Tampa Catholic on March 4, Uyaelunmo scored nine points, grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked five shots. He also scored nine points and had 15 rebounds in the 39-20 semifinals win over Mariana on March 1. He averaged 13.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks per game as a senior. He reached double figures in rebounds 22 times with a high of 19 vs. Pine Crest on Feb. 10 and also had seven games with 17 or more rebounds. His scoring high was 19 points vs. St. Andrew’s in a 48-42 win on Feb. 16. He posted 15 double-doubles. As a junior at Gulliver High in Miami, Fla. he also averaged a double-double with 10.4 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, while registering 4.1 blocks per game. He had 20 double-digit rebound games with a high of 21 vs. Miami Country Day. Uyaelunmo is ranked as the No. 16 center and the No. 7 player from Florida in the 2017 class by ESPN.com. PERSONAL: Uyaelunmo was born on March 20, 1998 in Lagos, Nigeria. His parents are Wendy Oliver-Pyatt and Michael Pyatt. Victor lived in Nigeria until he was 12 years old. His brother Solomon is one year behind him in school and they played together at Calvary Christian Academy last season. Victor is majoring in Business at USC.
