BREAKDOWN: Shaqquan Aaron was a 6-7, 195-pound  guard who transferred to USC from Louisville on June 3, 2015. The athletic wing had the ability to provide the Trojans with scoring punch as both a starter and coming off the bench. He averaged 6.7 points in his 104 games as a Trojan and 5.7 points in 127 career collegiate games.
2018-19: Aaron was one of two Trojans to start all 33 games, averaging 8.3 points and 4.3 rebounds. He scored in double figures nine times, scoring a season-best 20 points in the opener vs. Robert Morris on Nov. 6. He scored 18 points vs. CS Bakersfield on Nov. 25. Aaron had a career-best 10 rebounds along with 5 assists and 5 points vs. Arizona on Jan. 24. He scored 7 points, had 9 rebounds and matched a career high with 7 assists at UCLA on Feb. 28. Scored 11 points on 5 of 6 shooting in USC’s Pac-12 Tournament first round win over Arizona on March 13.
2017-18: Aaron averaged 4.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 35 games, 10 starts. He was one of five Trojans to appear in 35 or more games. He scored a season-best 14 points at UCLA on Feb. 3, making a season-best three 3-pointers. Started for the first time vs. Princeton on Dec. 19 and scored 5 points. Started eight consecutive games from Jan. 10-Feb. 8 and USC went 6-2 in those games. Aaron scored 10 points and hit two big 3-pointers late in the 89-84 victory over Middle Tennessee in the Diamond Head Classic semifinal on Dec. 23.
2016-17: Aaron averaged 7.6 points in 36 games, making 20 starts. USC was 17-3 in games he started. He scored in double figures nine times, six times in USC’s first nine games. He showed early in the season that he could be a big scoring threat, tallying a then career-best 17 points and grabbing a career-high seven rebounds in his first game as a Trojan vs. Montana on Nov. 11. He then bettered that with 19 points to key USC’s comeback win over BYU at the Staples Center on Dec. 3. He scored a career-high 23 points and made four three-pointers in USC’s 84-76 win over UCLA on Jan. 25. He was named the Pac-12 Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 23-29. He made a career-best five three-pointers (5 of 6) and scored 21 points vs. Oregon State on Feb. 9. He did not score in USC’s three NCAA Tournament games or in the Trojans’ final four contests.
2015-16 : Sat out the season after tranfering from Louisville. Had surgery to repair an old pinky fracture suffered while at Louisville to improve his range of motion on March 29. He was back in action by the 2016 summer practices.
2014-15 Aaron appeared in 23 games and made two starts for the Cardinals, averaging 1.3 points and 0.7 rebounds while playing 7.2 minutes per game. He played in his first collegiate game vs. CS Northridge on Dec. 23 and grabbed two rebounds and had an assist in five minutes of action. His first career points came when he made a three-pointer vs. Kentucky on Dec. 27. He started the next game vs. Long Beach State on Dec. 30, but did not score. Also started at Georgia Tech on Feb. 23 and scored two points in three minutes of action. Scored a career-high 11 points and pulled down a career-high five rebounds in 23 minutes at Wake Forest on Jan. 4. Only played 10 or more minutes five times, with a season-high 24 minutes played vs. Pittsburgh on February 23. Aaron had to sit out the first nine games of the season due to an NCAA eligibility issue. Louisville reached the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament, falling in overtime to Michigan State in the East Regional final. Aaron played two minutes in that game and appeared in three of Louisville's four NCAA Tournament games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Aaron attended Rainier Beach HS in Seattle, Wash. He averaged 19.7 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists en route to leading his team to the Class 3A title for the second consecutive season and earning 2013-14 Washington Player of the Year honors. The two-time first-team AP Class 3A all-state selection was ranked No. 26 nationally by 247Sports.com, 27th by Scout.com and 30th by Rivals.com. He was also ranked No. 33 in the ESPN 100. He averaged 17.7 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists as a junior at Rainier Beach, helping lead them to a 25-4 record and the state title. Originally from Pomona, Ca., Aaron averaged 9.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.0 steals as a freshman in joining with former teammate Katin Reinhardt in leading Mater Dei High to a 32-3 record and the 2011 California Division I CIF state title. He transferred to Taft as a sophomore, but did not compete. Aaron was a member of the 2011 USA Basketball 3x3 Youth World Championship team which finished eighth in the inaugural FIBA international 36-team competition in Rimini, Italy. He also participated with the 2010 USA Developmental National Team and 2011-12 USA Developmental National Team.
PERSONAL:  Aaron was born on July 21, 1995. His parents are Madinah and Carl Aaron and he has one brother, Shaddean, and one sister, Shalexxus. His brother Shaddean played basketball at Mercer from 2004-08, totaling 1,115 career points for the Bears. Shalexxus is a redshirt freshman on USC’s women’s team this season. His father Carl played professional basketball in Australia..
