CAREER: In his four-year career at Tufts (2020-23), he played in 22 games with 9 starts. He recorded 92 receptions for 1,564 yards (17.0 avg.) with a long of 82 yards and 20 TDs. He had 1 kickoff return for no gain.
2025: Richardson looks to compete for playing time at wide receiver as a redshirt senior in 2024.
2024: Richardson saw action in 4 games at wide receiver as a redshirt senior in 2024. He recorded 1 reception for 19 yards against Utah State.
TUFTS: As a senior in 2023, he was named to the All-NESCAC First Team and was awarded the 2023 NESCAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Additionally, Richardson earned placement on the D3Football.com All-Region First Team and the D3Football.com All-American Fourth Team. He recorded 46 receptions for 830 yards (18.0 avg.) with a team-leading 13 TDs while playing and starting in all 9 games. He was second in the NESCAC in TDs and third in receiving yards. He recorded five multi-touchdown games which led all NESCAC receivers. He also had 1 kick return for no gain.
As a junior in 2022, he tallied 41 receptions for 666 yards (16.2 avg.) while appearing in all 9 games.
As a sophomore in 2021, he had 5 catches for 68 yards (13.6 avg.) while appearing in 4 games.
His 2020 freshman season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Richardson was a two-time All-Bay Area First Team and All-League selection at Menlo HS. A team captain, he was named the 2019 PAL Wide Receiver of the Year.
He was also the team captain of the Menlo track and field team while running the 100 and 200.
PERSONAL: He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Tufts in 2023. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management at USC. His father, Damon, ran track at UC Riverside.
