2011: Joelle Bekhazi finished her three-year USC career ranked as USC's No. 11 all-time scorer with 135 career goals... Earned All-America Second Team honors... Also named to All-MPSF Second Team... Was second on the team in scoring with 41 goals... Scored in 21 games with 12 multiple-goal outings, including a career-high five goals vs. UCLA on April 29... Earned MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete and AWPCA All-Academic honors.
2010: Bekhazi led USC in scoring with 56 goals in her second season at Troy... Scored in 26 games with 20 multiple-goal outings... Set a new career high with four goals scored in back-to-back games on April 3... Named a First Team All-American and to All-MPSF Second Team... Also an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete and an AWPCA All-Academic honoree.
2009: Bekhazi was third on the team in scoring with 38 goals in her first season at USC... Scored in 20 different games with 15 multiple-goal outings... Set her career high with hat tricks in three different games... Received All-American Honorable Mention and was selected to All-MPSF Second Team... Also an AWPCA All-Academic honoree.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Bekhazi is a member of the Canadian National Team... Has helped Canada to silver medals at the 2019, 2015 and 2011 Pan American Games and at the 2017 FINA World League Super Final... Led Canada in scoring at the 2008 FINA World League... Competed with Canada at 2007 FINA Super Final and 2007 Pan American Games... Also was a member of Canada's Junior National Team for four years, competing at the Junior World Championships and Junior Pan-American Games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Bekhazi won seven Canadian national championships playing club for DDO Water Polo... Was named the MVP once and is a six-time All-Star at the national championships.
PERSONAL: Bekhazi majored in biological sciences and has aspirations to become a doctor... Parents are Michel and Diane... Has two siblings, Elie and Daniel... Lists Canadian Olympian Cora Campbell as her biggest sports hero... Favorite foods are pasta and candy... Has always wanted to snowboard and skydive... Entering USC, her dreams were to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games and then return to school for her master's and PhD... Born April 27, 1987.
