Bio
BREAKDOWN: Redshirt senior 6-7, 210-pound guard Isaiah White transferred to USC from Utah Valley before the 2020-21 season. He is a proven scorer and rebounder and again figures to be a key member of the squad.
2020-21: White played in 32 of USC’s 33 games and made 28 starts. He averaged 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and led the team with 31 steals. After the season he was the recipient of the John Rudometkin Award at the team banquet as the player who demonstrated maximum effort at all times. He scored 10 points and had 7 reobunds in his USC debut vs. California Baptist on Nov. 25. He led USC with a season-best 22 points in win at Arizona on Jan. 7...tied a then career high with 3 three-pointers made. He scored 13 points and was 2-for-2 from 3-point range vs. Washington State on Jan. 16. He scored 9 points, had 6 rebounds and 4 steals at Utah on Feb. 27. Left the game vs. Stanford on March 3 with back spasms and did not play in the regular season finale at UCLA. Returned to action at the Pac-12 Tournament by scoring 14 points vs. Utah on March 11. He averaged 10.3 points in USC’s run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament. He matched a season best with 22 points and made a career-high 4 three-pointers vs. Oregon on March 28 in the Sweet 16 game.
2019-20: White averaged 14.5 points and 8.4 rebounds in 21 games for Utah Valley, making 18 starts. He led Utah Valley in points and rebounds per game. He scored a career-best 25 points vs. Westminster (Utah) on Nov. 5. He scored in double figures 17 times and reached double figures in rebounds five times, with at least seven rebounds in 17 games. Posted a career-high 18 rebounds and added 13 points at CSU Bakersfield on Jan. 23. He also scored 20 or more points at Long Beach State on Dec. 21 (22), at UTRGV on Feb.13 (23) and at New Mexico State on Feb. 15 (21).
2018-19: White played in 33 games and started 32 for the Wolverines. He tied for third on the team with an 8.5 points per game scoring average, while leading the team with 19 blocks and ranked third with 26 steals. He made 43 percent of his shots, including 39 percent from beyond the arc. He scored in double figures 12 times, including a season-best 19 points at Northern Arizona on Dec. 8. He scored 15 points in a CBI first-round win vs. CSUN on March 19. He scored seven points and had nine rebounds in the CBI second round against USC on March 25.
2017-18: He redshirted his second season at Salt Lake Community College.
2016-17: He averaged a team-leading 12.8 points for Salt Lake Community College. He made 45.7 percent of his shots and posted 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
HIGH SCHOOL: White graduated in 2016 from Damie High where he led the team to a 25-6 record as a senior. He helped lead Damien to the quarterfinals of the CIF Southern Section tournament in 2016. He earned first team all baseline league honors while at DHS.
PERSONAL: His parents are Demond White and Gidget Glene and he has two siblings, Malachi and Genesis.
