THIS SEASON: Olympic gold-medalist and three-time All-American Paige Hauschild returns for her fourth season of competition as a Trojan.
2022 SEASON:
• An All-America First Team and All-MPSF First Team honoree in her third season at USC
• Was the team’s third leading scorer with 47 goals
• Named to the NCAA All-Tournament First Team and MPSF All-Tournament Team
• Scored in 21 games with 14 multi-goal games
• Scored a season-high five goals vs. San José State
• Scored five goals at the MPSF Tournament and four at the NCAA Tournament
• Climbed to rank No. 13 all-time in scoring at USC with 164 career goals
• Named an MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete
2021 SEASON:
• Sat out the 2021 season at USC to train with the U.S. National Team in preparation for the upcoming Olympic Games
• Won Olympic gold with Team USA in Tokyo
2020 SEASON:
• Did not compete in the 2020 season at USC
• Took a leave of absence to train with the U.S. National Team in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics
2019 SEASON:
• Selected a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist as a sophomore
• A First Team All-American and All-MPSF First Team selection
• Named MPSF Tournament MVP and to the NCAA All-Tournament First Team
• Second on team in scoring with 49 goals
• Scored in 24 games with 15 multiple-goal outings
• Scored 18 goals in USC’s final seven games, including season-high four-goal games vs. UCLA, Indiana and Stanford
• Had the game-winning goal in sudden death to beat Stanford and win the MPSF Tournament championship
• Named MPSF Player of the Week on April 22
• Scored her 100th career goal with her first goal of four vs. UCLA on April 20
2018 SEASON:
• Selected a Peter J. Cutino Award finalist as a true freshman
• Named MPSF Newcomer of the Year... Earned All-America First Team Honors
• Led USC in scoring with 68 goals — the most ever scored by a Trojan true freshman
• Scored in 26 games with 19 multiple-goal outings... Set career high with seven goals scored vs. Hartwick on March 31
• Scored six goals at the MPSF Tournament, including five vs. UCLA in the semifinals
• Scored six goals at the NCAA Tournament, with two in the semifinals vs. UCLA and one in the final
• Named to NCAA All-Tournament First Team and to the MPSF All-Tournament Team
• Set MPSF record as a seven-time MPSF Newcomer of the Week honoree
NATIONAL TEAMS:
• As a member of the U.S. National Team, won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games
• Helped Team USA qualify for the 2020 Olympic Games with a gold medal won at the 2019 FINA World League Super Final
• Won gold with Team USA at the 2019 FINA World Championships and won gold at 2019 Pan American Games
• Named to Media All-Star Team at 2019 FINA World Championships
• Won gold at 2017 FINA World Championships
• Also won gold at the 2015 FINA Intercontinental Tournament and silver at the 2017 FINA Intercontinental Tournament
• As a member of the U.S. Junior National Team, competed at the 2017 FINA Junior World Championships
• Also was a member of the U.S. team at the 2016 Youth World Championships
HIGH SCHOOL: Hauschild is a three-time All-CIF First Team honoree out of San Marcos High in Santa Barbara, Calif.… Led the team to the 2017 Division I CIF Finals… Also a three-time Channel League MVP… Named the San Marcos High School Female Athlete of the Year three years in a row… Played club for Santa Barbara 805.
PERSONAL: Hauschild is majoring in communication… Parents are Jenni and Dwayne… Dwayne played volleyball at Long Beach State… Has two brothers, Shane and Ben... Shane played water polo at UC Santa Barbara, and Ben played at San José State... Enjoys spending time at the beach with friends and family… Favorite foods are tacos, mashed potatoes and acai bowls… Lists favorite movie as Elf and favorite TV shows as The Bachelor, Stranger Things and Law & Order… She hopes to one day compete on The Amazing Race, go shark caging and travel to Australia and Thailand… Born on Aug. 17, 1999.
