USC has won its last four tournaments heading into the Chevron Silverado Showdown.
LOS ANGELES — The No. 2 USC Trojans will compete in their final regular season tournament at the Chevron Silverado Showdown, hosted by the University of California at the Silverado Country Club and Resort in Napa, Calif. from April 6-8.
The 16-team field will play 18 holes per day at the par-72, 6,146-yard track, with the first round starting on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 a.m. PT. A link to live scoring can be found on the women's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
USC is very familiar with the Silverado Country Club and Resort course: This will be the sixth consecutive year the Trojans will compete at the Chevron Silverado Showdown. Last year, Catherine Park led the Trojans with a second-place effort to help the team take second place. The year prior, Park won the tournament with a 209 (-7) and the Trojans split the title with Northwestern.
Heading into this week, USC is on a four-tournament win streak — its first streak of three-round tournament wins since the 2013-14 season. The Trojans have also had three individual winners in their last five tournaments, with three different players taking home medalist honors: Kylie Chong (twice), Jasmine Koo (twice), and Park. So far, USC has matched last year's win total with five tournament titles.
The Trojans are coming off a win at the PING ASU Invitational, where USC was 11 strokes ahead of the field with an 841 (-23). All four scorers placed in the top 10, led by Park, who was the runner-up with a 209 (-7).
