Ausmus, Yaacobi Named To MPSF All-Tournament Team

LOS ANGELES - The Trojans had two representatives on the 2026 MPSF All-Tournament Team. Emily Ausmus and Alma Yaacobi were two of the eight players to receive all-tournament honors after USC finished as the runner up.

Ausmus tallied three goals, two drawn exclusions, two field blocks and two sprints wins in the semifinal game. The two-time all-tournament selection followed that up with another hat trick in the final. Ausmus added on three assists, three drawn exclusions and a steal in the championship game.

Yaacobi recorded a hat trick of her own in the semifinal game against California. The sophomore center tacked on two drawn exclusions and a steal as USC took a 17-14 victory. In the title game, Yaacobi scored twice and drew two exclusions.

USC will turn its focus to the NCAA tournament where the squad will face the No. 6 seed LMU in the quarterfinals. The game is set for April 24 at 6:00 p.m..
