McAninch Named MPSF/Delfina Player of the Week

LOS ANGELES - Following dominant performances against No. 1 Stanford and No. 5 Hawai'i, Meghan McAninch has been named the MPSF/Delfina Player of the Week.
This is the first career MPSF weekly award for McAninch.
McAninch powered the Trojan offense in a pair of wins over two top five opponents with 10 points across the two games. McAninch recorded a hat trick and two assists in the 14-13 victory over #5 Hawai'i and tacked on two sprint wins. She then brought that momentum into the pivotal conference matchup against #1 Stanford with a four goal performance and an assist to hand the Cardinal its first loss of the season by a score of 11-10.
