No. 3 USC Beach Volleyball Notches Wins Against No. 6 TCU and Palm Beach State

The Women of Troy are now 18-3 after the trip to Pompano Beach, Florida.
POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – No. 3 USC Beach Volleyball wrapped up its final day in the Sunshine State, running it back against No. 6 TCU, followed by an exhibition dual against Palm Beach State on Tuesday, March 17. The Women of Troy secured their second straight win over the Horned Frogs, beating TCU 3-2. They also swept the Panthers in all five matches.
MATCH #21: No. 3 USC def. No. 6 TCU, 3-2
RECORDS: USC (18-3), TCU (12-4)
Court Two was the first group to finish in today's dual. Zoey Henson and Sarah Wood secured the first point for the Women of Troy, locking down the win over TCU's Stacy Reeves and Sofia Izuzquiza with scores of 21-19 and 21-13.
From there, the No. 3 pair of Bella Satterwhite and Kerry Keefe completed their match. They also grabbed a two-set win over TCU, getting it done with scores of 21-16 and 21-19. With these two matches done, USC was up 2-0 over TCU.
However, the Frogs rallied back against the Trojans. They went on to secure the next two points on Courts 4 and 5. Kyra Zaengle and Calinda Kok battled against TCU's Morgan Williams and Denie Konstantinova in the fourth spot, winning the first set before dropping the final two with scores of 22-20, 16-21 and 15-10. The Frogs snagged the win in the fifth flight as well, as Madison Goellner and Kaileigh Truslow fell 21-18, 14-21 and 15-17 to TCU's Hannah Taylor and Melina Mol.
The No. 1 pair of Ashley Pater and Kennedy Coakley decided the dual for USC as they took on Anhelina Khmil and Natalie Green of TCU. Pater and Coakley went the distance, coming out with a three-set victory over the Frogs 23-25, 21-19 and 15-7. With that win, USC won its second straight dual against TCU 3-2.
