Trojan Divers Conclude Competition At NCAA Zone E Championships

Five divers punched tickets to the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Atlanta.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - The USC diving squad wrapped up competition at the Zone E Championships on Wednesday.

Moritz Wesemann won his second event of the meet, posting a total score of 773.30 on the 1-meter springboard, and qualified for his second NCAA event.

Three Trojans reached the finals on platform on the final day in Arizona. Kate Miller led the group finishing third in prelims followed by Emi Machida and Jenna Jagielski in 11th and 14th respectively. Kate Miller finished with a final score of 549.90 to take third followed by Jenna Jagielski in 10th with a score of 456.70 as both qualified for the event at NCAAs.

Machida placed 16th with a total score of 438.60 to round out the group.

The women's NCAA swimming and diving championships will take place from March 18-21 followed by the men's from March 25-28.
