May 07, 2025 | Women's Soccer
LOS ANGELES – The USC women's soccer program announced another addition to their 2025 incoming class this week, welcoming redshirt junior transfer Amalie Pianim from Stanford.
Pianim, a forward, spent the last three years at Stanford and prior to that was the No. 65 recruit in the 2022 recruiting class coming from MVLA Soccer Club.
After redshirting her freshman year at Stanford, Pianim saw action in 17 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, tallying 2 assists in 290 minutes played. Pianim was also on the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2023. She did not appear in a match in 2024.
USC announced its incoming class in November, with the incoming Trojan freshmen ranked the No. 10 class in the nation. Pianim is the second transfer to join USC in the offseason, following Sophia Cavaliere, who joined USC in December. The Trojans are coming off of a season in which they won a Big Ten Title and advanced to the Quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament.
