CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two of the nation's premier women's college basketball programs – USC and NC State – are set to headline the 2025 Ally Tipoff in Charlotte, N.C., on November 9.
Returning to the Spectrum Center, the Ally Tipoff celebrates the strength, talent and impact of women's sports on a national stage. Last year's event drew 15,424 fans and a national broadcast audience for a doubleheader that featured NC State, South Carolina, Iowa, and Virginia Tech.
"As the popularity of women's basketball continues to soar, the Ally Tipoff represents our commitment to elevating the game and giving these incredible athletes the spotlight they deserve," said Will Pitts, CEO of Charlotte Sports Foundation. Under the direction of National Coach of the Year finalist Lindsay Gottlieb, the USC women's basketball team is coming off a 2024-25 season that saw the Trojans win the Big Ten regular-season championship, earn a No. 1 seed into the NCAA Tournament and reach a second straight Elite Eight to finish with a 31-4 overall record.
