USC Men’s Tennis Drops Dual Against No. 3 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – USC men's tennis (12-7, 6-3 Big Ten) dropped the second leg of the East Coast Road trip as it fell to No. 3 Ohio State (20-2, 9-0 Big Ten), 4-0, on Sunday, Apr. 6.
The Trojans were unable to muster any wins against the Big Ten powerhouse, as they dropped both doubles matches and all three singles matches. On the doubles side, USC lost on courts No. 2 and 3, as the closest match with graduate transfer Tristan Bradley and senior Peter Makk was left unfinished at 4-4.
Quick decisions on courts No. 2, 4, and 6 led to the sweep in singles. Only one Trojan won the first set against the Buckeyes, as Makk took the first set 6-4, fell behind in the second 6-1, and wasn't able to start the third against No. 9-ranked Aidan Kim.
The Trojans only have one road trip and one home slate left for the 2025 regular season. USC's final home stand begins against Michigan State at 5 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 11, and will conclude with Michigan at noon on Sunday, Apr. 13.
