LOS ANGELES – No. 22 USC women's tennis got back in the win column on Saturday afternoon, downing the Minnesota Golden Gophers 4-0 at Marks Tennis Stadium.

Parker Fry and Emma Charney downed Minnesota's Valitova/Schmitz 6-1 on court three, moments before the No. 5 ranked duo of Lily Fairclough and Grace Piper beat the Golden Gopher pair of Kocevar/Liepert 6-4. With the doubles point secured, play was suspended on court two with the score tied at five games all.

Next, No. 89 ranked Immi Haddad downed Arina Valitova 6-3, 6-1 to put USC one point away from a win. Freshman Simone Kay delivered the clinch on court six, beating Minnesota's Anlin Xie 6-0, 6-1.
