USC Women’s Golf Takes on First Ever Big Ten Tournament

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – USC Women's Golf is headed to the east coast to take part in the most competitive golf tournament in Big Ten history for the 2025 Big Ten Women's Golf Championships in Havre De Grace, Md. at the Bulle Rock Golf Course. The Trojans finished in second last year during their Pac-12 farewell tour after winning the Pac-12 in 2023, and are now vying to win a crown.
COMPETITIVE SLATE (18): Purdue, Indiana, Rutgers, Michigan State, Penn State, Northwestern, Maryland, UCLA, Ohio State, USC, Oregon, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Minnesota, Washington, Illinois, Iowa
WHERE: Bulle Rock Golf Course (Par 72, 6,235 yards)
WHEN: The Big Ten Championships will begin Friday, Apr. 18 and will conclude Sunday, Apr. 20.

LINEUP:
Jasmine Koo
Freshman Jasmine Koo heads to Maryland after an exceptional debut season at USC. She won four first-place titles (Windy City Collegiate, Stanford Intercollegiate, East Lake Cup, and the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational). She finished in the top 20 in eight out of nine tournaments, seven being top-10. The freshman tied the USC record for three consecutive first-place wins and tied the record for most first-place wins in a season. Koo has led the team all season long with a stroke average of 70.16.
Catherine Park
Junior Catherine Park heads into the Big Ten Championships with one first-place title (Leadership and Golf Invitational) and four second-place finishes. She remained consistent throughout the season, earning her seven top-10 finishes. The junior also tied for fourth at the Augusta National Women's Amateur earlier this month. Park is second on the team with a stroke average of 71.
Kylie Chong
Freshman Kylie Chong is headed to Maryland, coming off her third top-25 finish and her first top-10 finish of the season (Chevron Silverado Showdown. She was a crucial player for the Trojans in Napa as she finished four-under-par with 11 birdies and five bogeys, helping them secure their second-place finish for the tournament. The freshman also finished her first round in the 60s in her last outing. Chong has a stroke average of 74.2.
Xin (Cindy) Kou
Senior Xin (Cindy) Kou is headed to the Big Ten Championships to compete in the last postseason of her collegiate career. She has played in 40 tournaments at USC and 118 rounds. The senior has five top-25 finishes this season, one of which got her on the podium with a third-place finish (Therse Hession Challenge). Kou has a stroke average of 74.52.
Bailey Shoemaker
Sophomore Bailey Shoemaker is headed to Maryland after tying for 48th in her lasting outing in Napa. She tied for second in the 2024 NCAA East Lancing Regional and tied for 19th in the 2024 NCAA Championship. The sophomore was among the Trojans to be invited to the Augusta National Women's Amateur for the third year in a row. Shoemaker has five top-25 finishes this season and a stroke average of 72.92.
Jiarui (Joyce) Jin (substitute spot)
Redshirt Junior Jiarui (Joyce) Jin heads to the Big Ten Championships for her first collegiate postseason appearance as the substitute. She participated in one tournament this season as an individual player, tying for 94th at the Alice and John Wallace Golf Classic in February. Jin has a stroke average of 79.
