USC Baseball Falls to Hawai'i, 5-4

WESTCHESTER, Calif. – The USC baseball team fell late to Hawai'i on Tuesday night, dropping a 5-4 decision in a nonconference matchup at LMU.
USC drops to 23-13 overall with the loss, while Hawai'i moves to 25-10.
The Trojans took a one-run lead into the ninth, but Hawai'i scored two unearned runs with two outs to go up 5-4. USC put a runner on in the bottom half of the ninth, but he was stranded at first.
The Rainbow Warriors grabbed the early lead, scoring two in the second and one in the third to make it a 3-0 advantage for the visitors. Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek erased the deficit with one swing of the bat for USC, hitting a grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the third inning to put the Trojans on top.
