USC Men's Basketball Will Play In The Inaugural College Basketball Crown

The Trojans will play in this new postseason tournament taking place in Las Vegas.
LAS VEGAS – USC Men's Basketball (16-17, 7-13 Big Ten) will have more basketball to play this season as they head to Las Vegas for the College Basketball Crown. The Trojans will take on the Tulane Green Wave in the opening round on April 1 at 8 p.m. PT.
The Trojans finished the season with a 16-17 record, grabbing ranked wins over No. 7 Michigan State and No. 13 Illinois during conference play. They also locked in three Quad 1 wins and four Quad 2 wins. They are also ranked 26th in the NCAA in field goal percentage and 38th in offensive efficiency according to KenPom.
They will take on a tough team in the Tulane Green Wave out of the American Athletic Conference. They finished their season with a 19-14 record, and exited their conference tournament after a one-point loss to the eventual champions in Memphis.
This tournament will take place from March 31 through April 6. The Trojans along with 15 other teams will compete at MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with the championship game taking place at T-Mobile Arena. This inaugural tournament gives a unique experience to student-athletes to continue with postseason play while exhibiting their talents on a national stage.
