Five USC Divers Punch Tickets to Upcoming NCAA Championships

LOS ANGELES - Five USC divers have earned bids to the upcoming NCAA Championships after strong performances at the just-wrapped Zone E Diving Competition.
Laurent Gosselin-Paradis and Robert Gref earned spots at NCAAs in the platform event, finishing second and seventh, respectively at the Zone Championships. Gosselin-Paradis tallied 775.75 points to finish runner-up, while Gref snagged the seventh and final spot with 712.90 points.
DAY TWO RECAP
The second day of Zone's saw Laurent Gosselin-Paradis qualify for NCAA's, as Troy finished 2-3-4 on 3-meter. Moritz Wesemann led the way in second place with 812.80 points, followed by Shangfei Wang in third (782.55) and Gosselin-Paradis in third with 775.60 points. Junior Robert Gref was 12th with 669.55 points.
In the women's platform competition, Kate Miller finished second with 588.80 points to earn a spot at the upcoming NCAA meet. Grace Miller was 16th with 422.25 points.

The USC diving team opened the 2025 Zone E Diving Championships strongly on Monday, with three qualifying for the NCAA meet on springboard.
In the men's 1-meter event, Moritz Wesemann emerged victorious with a total score of 736.80 to earn his first NCAA bid. Senior Shangfei Wang was fifth with 681.10 points.
On the women's side, freshman Kate Miller claimed the 3-meter springboard competition with 639.30 points. Miller won the event by a margin of nearly 16 points.
