USC Women’s Tennis Headed to San Diego for ITA Regionals

LOS ANGELES – USC women's tennis continues the fall season this week as seven Trojans head to San Diego, Calif. for the six-day ITA Southwest Regional Championships. The event runs Thursday, Oct. 16 through Tuesday, Oct. 21.
USC Juniors Lily Fairclough and Immi Haddad, along with sophomores Jana Hossam and Simone Kay return to the annual event for the second time in their careers. Conversely, newcomers Eugenia Zozaya, Krisha Mahendran and Dani Borruel are set to make their ITA Regional debuts this weekend.
Main Draw action will begin on Friday with doubles, followed by singles.
The two singles finalists from each region (26) will qualify for November's NCAA singles tournament. Meanwhile, the doubles champion from each region (13) will earn a spot in the NCAA doubles draw.
