The Trojans host a pair of conference foes for their final homestand of the regular season.
THIS WEEK - The USC women's soccer team hosts Nebraska on Thursday and No. 5 Iowa on Sunday for its final homestand of the regular season.

SENIOR DAY - The Trojans will celebrate Senior Day Sunday, honoring the lone senior on the roster, Molly McDougal, with a pregame ceremony prior to the 6 pm kickoff against Iowa.

PRIDE NIGHT – USC will host its annual Pride Night on Thursday night against Nebraska, with the first 200 Trojan fans receiving a USC Pride hat.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS NEBRASKA - Nebraska leads the all-time series between the teams, 3-2-1, since the teams first met in 1995. The last meeting came in 2022, when the Trojans and Cornhuskers played to a 1-1 draw in Lincoln. The last meeting in Los Angeles came early in the 2019 season and resulted in a 2-0 USC victory. The Teams have never met as conference opponents and have never met in the postseason.

LAST WEEK - A pair of late goals sank USC on the road last week. Minnesota broke a 1-1 tie in the 83rd minute to take Thursday's contest in Minneapolis and Wisconsin broke a scoreless tie in the 88th minute on Sunday in Madison.

RAWLINSON STADIUM - USC made a big investment in the women's soccer program with the construction of Rawlinson Stadium. The $38 million project was announced in 2023 and broke ground on April 9, 2024, with construction finishing this summer. The stadium was built over the site of the former McAlister Field and has a maximum capacity of 2,500 fans. USC held a ribbon cutting ceremony prior to the season opener against CBU on August 17.

ANDERSON AT OREGON - USC earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory on the road at Oregon on Friday afternoon, with Jaiden Anderson scoring the game-winner in the 86th minute. The Trojans controlled much of the match, outshooting the Ducks 15-9 and holding 64% of the possession, but it took until the final minutes to find the breakthrough. Bella Grust recorded her fifth clean sheet of the season with four saves, while the USC defense limited Oregon to just two first-half shots.

GRITTY WIN VS RUTGERS - USC completed their most recent two-game homestand with a 2-1 victory against Rutgers at Rawlinson Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 28. Jaiden Anderson and Ines Derrien scored the USC goals in the first half. Rutgers pulled one back late in the match, but the Trojan defense made the lead stand up as USC had a 12-8 shots advantage and 5-1 corners advantage.

SHUTOUT VS MARYLAND - The Trojans bounced back with a dominant performance against Maryland last Thursday night, taking down the Terrapins 3-0. Mary Flores opened the scoring with a stunning free kick goal in the 7th minute, then Katie Park made it 2-0 before the half by drawing a PK and converting the kick. Eleanor Morrissey found Hana Mizumoto with a long pass and Mizumoto chipped the keeper to make it 3-0 in the 89th minute. USC held 60% of the possession in the game and limited Maryland to just four shots, posting their fourth shutout of the season.

RODRIGUEZ WORLD CUP CALL UP - Freshman Jaiden Rodriguez was called up by the U.S. Youth National Team for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco later this month. Rodriguez was previously called up by the USYNT for friendlies in Spain earlier this season. The U-17 World Cup will run Oct. 17-Nov. 8.

Her 16 points are 4th in the conference and her 6 goals are 5th. She is averaging 1.23 points per game (also 3rd in the Big Ten). Flores has 3 game-winning goals as well, which is 3rd in the conference.
- Jaiden Anderson is tied with Flores for the team points lead (16) and also sits 5th in the Big Ten in goals (6) and 3rd in points per game (1.23). Anderson scored the first ever goal in Rawlinson Stadium history, converting on a PK in the season opener against CBU. She has 2 game-winning goals, including the most recent late winner against Oregon.
- Ines Derrien is 3rd for USC with 10 total points and 4 goals this season, while also posting 2 assists. Derrien posted a brace against CBU in the opener and had two assists and a goal against New Mexico State.
