LINEUP: Catherine Park
Park comes into the season with a long list of accolades already as an ANNIKA Fall Watch List and a Preseason First Team All-American (Golfweek/Golf Channel) Recipient. The junior posted a historic 2023-24 for the Women of Troy, as she was an ANNIKA Award Finalist and a WGCA/Golfweek First Team All-American. Park heads into her junior year with multiple team records: single-season stroke average (70.94) and rounds at par or better (23).
Bailey Shoemaker
Shoemaker will play a pivotal role in the success of USC's squad, just as she did last season. She made her debut on the ANNIKA Fall Watch List and was selected as a Preseason Second Team All-American (Golfweek/Golf Channel). The sophomore helped lead the Women of Troy to the Final Four after making the final putt to beat Clemson in the Quarterfinals. Shoemaker's freshman year was highlighted by a second-place finish at the Augusta National Women's Amateur. Shoemaker posted a bogey-free 66 in the final round and set a new single-round record for the tournament. The sophomore on the collegiate stage posted a 72.57 stroke average and had a second-place finish at the NCAA East Lansing Regional.
Jasmine Koo
Arguably the best player in the freshman class is ready to make her debut in the college landscape. Koo joined both Park and Shoemaker on the ANNIKA Fall Watch List and was named to the Preseason All-American First Team (Golfweek/Golf Channel). Before coming to USC, Koo posted three wins and 13 top ten finishes. The Torrance native has been a tear this summer, including posting the best Amateur finish, 13th place, at the LPGA's Chevron Championship. Koo is currently ranked No. 1 in the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) standings.
Xin (Cindy) Kou
Kou heads into her final campaign with a career stroke average of 73.46 in 31 tournaments and has produced 11 rounds in the 60s and has nine top 10 finishes. Last season the senior played in seven tournaments with her best finish coming from an 18-hole stroke play tournament at the East Lake Cup. Kou was tied for 2nd at the end of the round and helped USC claim the three seed headed into match play. The former Pac-12 All-Conference player will be a steady part of the lineup this season.
Kylie Chong
Chong joins Koo as part of the 2024 recruiting class for the Women of Troy. Chong is listed as high as the No. 8 player in the class as her amateur career is highlighted by a 2nd place finish at the Girls Junior PGA Championship alongside a win at the AJGA Junior at Hot Springs. Heading into USC she has produced eight top 10 finishes and will be a player to watch at the bottom of the lineup.
