No. 23 USC Women's Volleyball Hosts No. 1 Pitt in Home Opener

The Women of Troy will play their next seven matches at Galen Center
LOS ANGELES – The No. 23-ranked USC women's volleyball team (3-1) hosts No. 1-ranked Pittsburgh (3-0) in its home opener on Wednesday (Sept. 11) in the Trojans' first Big Ten Network appearance of the season. It will be the first time the Women of Troy have faced the nation's top-ranked team since a December meeting with No. 1 Baylor in 2019. USC is 39-9 in home openers, which includes a 12-5 mark at Galen Center since the arena opened in 2006. Following the USC-Pitt contest, the Trojans co-host the SoCal Cup I tournament with Loyola Marymount and will take on Utah State (1-4) on Thursday (Sept. 12) and Ohio (3-2) on Friday (Sept. 13). Both tourney matches will be shown live on Big Ten Plus (B1G+) with first serve set for 7 p.m. PT.
