July 24, 2024 | Women's Lacrosse
LOS ANGELES— USC women's lacrosse earned numerous accolades via the IWLCA. The Women of Troy earned 11 IWLCA Scholar-Athlete honors, the association announced on Wednesday, July 24.
The 11 athletes include: Danielle Carson, Callie Cirilli, Kait Devir, Mia Ferraro, Mia Fleming, Kayla Frank, Ella Heaney, Sloane Murphy, Alexis Niblock, Kailey Pelkey and Claudia Shevitz.
All nine Trojans earned their place on the honor roll with GPAs of at least 3.5 for the 2023-24 academic year.
The Women of Troy (12-5, 6-1 Pac-12) finished the 2024 season in second, falling one game short of Stanford for the regular season conference title. USC missed a bid at the NCAA tournament, as it was one of the first few teams out after finalizing its season in the Pac-12 tournament semifinals.
