USC’s Kaitlyn Dobler Named First Team Academic All-American

LOS ANGELES - USC's Kaitlyn Dobler was voted to the 2023-24 College Sport Communicators Division 1 Swimming and Diving Academic All-America First Team on Tuesday, April 23. This marks more than 45 all-time College Sport Communicators Academic All-America first-team certificates earned by USC athletes.

With the selection, Kaitlyn is now a three-time honoree, earning first team honors last year and second team honors in 2022.

A few weeks back, Dobler was selected to the College Sport Communicators NCAA Division I Academic All-District Team alongside Marlene Kahler, Robert Gref and Paul Retterer.

Astronautical engineering major Dobler is the only Pac-12 student-athlete represented on the Swimming and Diving Academic All-America First Team list. This season, Dobler won two Pac-12 individual titles, contributed to two Pac-12 relay titles and earned First Team All-America honors in four events (two individual, two relay) at the 2024 NCAA Championships. Dobler also helped the Trojans to a undefeated 9-0 dual match record for the first time in program history.
