No. 20 USC Rowing Finishes Third in First Day of Ivy League Invitational

All boats finish third in first day of Ivy League Invitational.
Princeton, N.J. – The No. 20 USC women's rowing team finishes third in all races on the first day of the Ivy League Invitation on April 20. USC entered three boats in the invitational: Varsity Four, Second Varsity Eight, and Varsity Eight.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Varsity Four kicked off the invite for the Trojans. USC came in at 7:36.895 for third place, 17 seconds behind Penn, with their time being 7:19.759.
- The Second Varsity Eight was next on the water for the Trojans. Sophomore Ellen Ariathurai led the Women of Troy to third place with a time of 6:47.950. The Quakers were 18 seconds ahead with a time of 6:29.930.
- The Varsity Eight finished the day of racing for USC in third place with a time of 6:35.987. Penn preceded the Trojans in second place, with a time of 6:17.293.
TROJAN BOATS
- So. Sage Saperstein coxed for the Varsity Four. Michaela Banta, Kiki George, and Abbie Diemer filled the boat with Rhese Abrams in the bow seat.
- Fr. Ellen Ariathurai coxed for the Trojan's Second Varsity Eight. Grace Eamer sat the stroke seat for the Trojans. Chloe Amling, Chiara Meakin, Bella Korellis, Julia Karten, Isabella Lysaker, and Clare Widzgowski, followed by Alex DeLisle, succeeded in the stroke seat.
- Sr. Eden Cooper-Squires coxed for the Varsity 8+. In the stroke seat was Grete Alttoa. Following Alttoa were Zoe McCutcheon, Annabel Aron, Ingrid Brast, Celia Marino, Amy Clare Naughton, Anastasiia Slivina, and in the bow was Raquel Rodriguez.
