The Third Varsity Eight kicked off the dual for the Trojans after a 30-minute delay. The Trojans came in at 7:01.7, 16 seconds behind Stanford Third Varsity Eight, with their time being 6:44.1.
LOS ANGELES – The No. 17 USC women's rowing team comes up short in Stanford Dual on Friday, Mar. 29, at the USC Boathouse.

WHAT HAPPENED
- The Third Varsity Eight kicked off the dual for the Trojans after a 30-minute delay. The Trojans came in at 7:01.7, 16 seconds behind Stanford Third Varsity Eight, with their time being 6:44.1.
- The Varsity Four was next on the water for the Trojans. Sophomore Sage Saperstein led the women of troy through the starting line with a time of 7:40.0. The Cardinal were 22 seconds ahead with a time of 7:18.0.
- The Second Varsity Four joined the Varsity Four race and came short of Stanford with a time of 8:17.9. The Cardinal finished first with a time of 7:25.6.
- The Second Varsity Eight crossed the finish with a time of 6:52.7. USC finished 19 seconds behind Stanford with the Cardinal clocking in at 6:33.4.
- USC's Varsity Eight finished the evening off coming in at 6:42.1. Stanford finished with a time of 6:24.3.
TROJAN BOATS
- Fr. Ellen Ariathurai coxed for the Trojan's Second Varsity 8+. Celia Marino sat the stroke seat for the Trojans. Chloe Amling, Chiara Meakin, Bella Korellis, Julia Karten, Anna Molnar, and Greace Eamer, followed by Isabella Lysaker, succeeded in the stroke seat.
- Sr. Eden Cooper-Squires coxed for the Varsity 8+. In the stroke seat was Grete Alttoa. Following Alttoa were Zoe McCutcheon, Annabel Aron, Ingrid Brast, Clare Widzgowski, Amy Clare Naughton, Anastasiia Slivina, and in the bow was Raquel Rodriguez.
- So. Sofia Cabrera coxed for the Trojan's Third Varsity 8+. Michaela Banta sat the stroke seat for the Trojans. Kristen George, Gretchen Angelich, Evita Franckevica, Rhese Abrams, Regan Mary Cronin, Martina Scarpello, Sasha Henry, and Tala Ransweiler succeeded in the stroke seat.
- So. Sage Saperstein coxed for the Varsity Four. Michaela Banta, Sara Clarin, and Abbie Diemer filled the boat with Alex DeLisle in the bow seat.
- Fr. Sophie Wojcik coxed for the Second Varsity Four. Lauren Donnelly, Julia Kennedy, and Franchesca Moore sat in the Trojan Boat with Belle Bordier in the bow seat.
