USC Lacrosse Selected First in the Pac-12 Preseason Coaches Poll

The Women of Troy head into the season looking to repeat as both Pac-12 regular season and conference champions

SAN FRANCISCO - USC lacrosse projected to finish first in the Pac-12 according to the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll; the conference announced Thursday, Feb. 1.

The Trojans enter their final Pac-12 season, hoping to repeat as both the regular season and conference champs. Last season, USC finished with a record of 16-4 overall (9-1 Pac-12) and clinched a spot in the NCAA Tournament, where Denver eliminated it in the first round.

The Women of Troy led all conference teams in the preseason poll with 48 points, including six first-place votes. Stanford was the only other squad to receive first-place votes, with two votes bringing its total to 44 points. Colorado rounded out the top three with 37 points in the poll.
