SAN FRANCISCO – The USC women's volleyball team was chosen to finish in fourth place in the official Pac-12 Preseason Coaches Poll as announced by the Conference on Friday, Aug. 18.
The Trojans were also picked to finish fourth in last year's preseason poll and indeed ended the season in fourth place with a 13-7 record in league matches. Defending league champion Stanford received 11 of the 12 available first-place votes while Oregon received the only other first-place ballot. The Cardinal was picked to repeat as champion with 121 points in the poll. Washington State (105) came in second with Oregon in third at 103 points.
