USC Women’s Basketball Earns 2022-23 WBCA Academic Honors

The team scored Special Mention for its combined GPA of 3.250.
USC women's basketball has earned special mention from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association for the team's combined 2022-23 GPA of 3.250. The WBCA Academic Honor Rolls and Special Mention lists were released August 1, honoring teams around the nation that held at least a 3.0 combined GPA.
In head coach Lindsay Gottlieb's second season, the USC women reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 and placed a program-record three Trojans on the All-Pac-12 Team. Two Trojans were selected in the WNBA Draft, three picked up spots on the Pac-12 Winter Academic Honor Roll, and two earned CSC Academic All-District honors. In the spring 2023 semester alone, USC women's basketball scored a combined 3.294 GPA. Clearly successful on the court and in the classroom, Gottlieb's 2022-23 team has the program on the rise across the board.
