Seven USC Rowers Named CRCA Scholar Athletes

LOS ANGELES – Seven Trojans were named Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) Scholar Athletes on July 21. Grete Alttoa, Eden Cooper-Squires, Lillian Lau, Isabella Lysaker, Anna Molnar, Sara Clarin, and Jenna Van de Grift were each honored for their success in the classroom. USC now has 61 all-time scholar athlete selections.

Eden Cooper-Squires, Grete Alttoa, Lillian Lau, Anna Molnar, and Jenna Van de Grift previously were awarded the CRCA Scholar Athlete in 2022. Eden Cooper-Squires and Lilian Lau were also awarded the CRCA Scholar Athlete award in 2021.

In order to be chosen as a CRCA Scholar Athlete, the student-athlete must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for her career and row in her institution's NCAA eligible boats for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races.
