USC Women’s Basketball Doubles Up With Men On November 6 In Las Vegas

The Women of Troy will face Ohio State in Hall of Fame Series.
The USC women's basketball team has a marquee matchup on tap in a doubleheader with the USC men at the Hall of Fame Series in Las Vegas. On November 6, the Women of Troy are slated to face off against Ohio State. The USC men will take on Kansas State that same day out at T-Mobile Arena.
"We want to challenge ourselves on the biggest stages, and the chance to play in this premier event in Vegas is a tremendous opportunity," USC women's head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said. "Ohio State is coming off of an Elite Eight appearance, and with the backing of the Hall of Fame as well as a top-notch TV partner, we knew it was a game we wanted to take part in. USC fans get to see our Women of Troy in a marquee event in a big-time arena on opening night of the 2023-24 season. We are looking forward to the challenge."
The Buckeyes lead the all-time series 4-3. Ohio State, which made a fourth Elite Eight appearance with its run in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, won the last meeting between the schools when the Buckeyes hosted the Trojans on Nov. 19, 2006. USC's 21 wins last season marked its most victories since 2013-14 (22). Gottlieb's 2023-24 Trojan roster feature returning All-Pac-12 Team pick Rayah Marshall and Pac-12 All-Defensive Honorable Mention recipient Kayla Williams along with anticipated newcomer Juju Watkins and three graduate transfer additions from Ivy League programs: Kaitlyn Davis, McKenzie Forbes and Kayla Padilla,
The 2023 Hall of Fame Series will also feature a women's clash between LSU and Colorado and a men's meeting between Georgia and Oregon — also on November 6. Tickets for the event are scheduled to go on sale in July, with times and broadcast information to come.
