LOS ANGELES, CA --Senior Blake Sodersten was dominant on Friday, fanning 11 Oregon hitters over seven innings of work to help lead the USC Trojans past the No. 17 Ducks, 7-2.
In addition to his 11 strikeouts, Sodersten (3-2) went seven innings, giving up one run on six hits and walking one for USC (26-19-1, 12-10). Senior Kyle Wisch also made an impact on the mound for the Trojans, throwing a scoreless ninth inning while allowing no hits, with no walks and one strikeout.
At the plate, the Trojans were led by freshman Ethan Hedges, who went 2-for-2 on the day with a double, two walks and three RBI.
