No. 17 USC Rowing Travels North to Compete in Dexter Lake Invitational

LOS ANGELES – The USC women's rowing team travels to Lowell, Oregon this Saturday, April 29, to compete in the Dexter Lake Invitational.
The last time USC rowing competed in the Dexter Lake Invite was in 2021 and had three boats compete. The Trojans finished third in the Varsity Eight competing against Washington, Oregon State, Sacramento State, and Gonzaga. The Second Varsity Eight and the Varsity Four finished fourth and third respectively competing against the same boats as the Varsity Eight.
The Trojans are bringing four boats to compete in this year's Dexter Lake Invite: the Varsity Four, the Varsity Eight, the Second Varsity Eight, and the Third Varsity Eight. Each boat will compete twice for a total of eight races on April 29. All USC boats will be competing against Loyola Marymount, UCLA, Central Florida, Oregon State, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Fresno State.
The USC Varsity Four will kick off racing as they hit the water at 8:20 a.m. Following the Varsity Four, the Second Varsity Eight will race at 8:40 a.m. Then the Varsity Eight will compete at 9:00 a.m. Finally, the Third Varsity Eight will finish off the first session of racing at 9:20 a.m.
The Trojans will have another opportunity to race. The second session will be following the same order of boats with the Varsity Four racing at 12:20 p.m., the Second Varsity Eight competing at 12:40 p.m., the Varsity Eight racing 1:00 p.m., and finally the Third Varsity Eight finishes the day off racing at 1:20 p.m.
