USC Baseball Drops Pitchers' Duel to Nevada, 3-2

LOS ANGELES – The USC baseball team fell in a low-scoring affair to Nevada, 3-2, on Wednesday night at Dedeaux Field.
USC drops to 5-6-1 with the loss, while Nevada improves to 7-5 on the year.
Blake Sodersten struck out 10 batters in five innings on the mound, giving up just two hits in the process, but both were solo-homers and he exited the game with the score tied 2-2. Nevada would score the go-ahead run in the sixth.
USC scored both of its runs in the second inning, getting a two-run double from Bryce Martin-Grudzielanek.
