USC Lacrosse's Ella Heaney and Catherine Lord Named to Inside Lacrosse's Midseason All-American List

The Trojans (8-2, 3-0 Pac-12) lead the Pac-12 standings after an early undefeated start to the conference schedule
BALTIMORE - USC lacrosse senior Ella Heaney (Garden City, N.Y.) and sophomore Catherine Lord (Denver, Colo.) were named to the ILWomen Midseason All-American Honorable Mentions List, Friday, Mar. 31.
Both players have been fundamental parts of the Trojans' successful start to the season. Heaney is currently second on the team in goals with 18 and has tallied 30 points. Lord leads the squad in draw controls with 49 and has produced ten caused turnovers and 15 groundballs. Heaney and Lord have also added Pac-12 Player of the Week Awards to their resumes, as Heaney was named the Offensive Player of the Week on Feb. 21, and Lord has claimed the Defensive award three times. Lord's three Defensive Player of the Week honors currently rank first in the conference for all players.
This tandem hits the field again today (Mar. 31) and Sunday (Apr. 2) against California and Stanford. The Trojans take on the Bears at 3 p.m. in Berkeley, Calif., at the California Memorial Stadium and the Cardinal at 1 p.m. in Stanford, Calif., at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.
