USC Diving’s Shangfei Wang Reaches 1-Meter Podium at NCAA Championships

USC sophomore Shangfei Wang finished fifth on 1-Meter to highlight USC 's efforts during the second day of action at the men's NCAA Swim and Dive Championships in Minneapolis.
Wang, who became an All-American with his podium finish in the springboard competition, tallied 391.70 points during finals. During prelims, Wang was eighth with 366.80 points.
Also competing on 1-meter were Trojans Laurent Gosselin-Paradis (340.90) and George Korovin (314.60) who finished 18th and 33rd, respectively.
Sophomore Artem Selin was USC's lone swimmer in action today, finishing 32nd in the 50y freestyle in 19.35.
With two days of action complete, the Trojans sit in 21st place with 14 points (all coming from diving).
Action continues tomorrow with the men's swimming prelims set to begin at 8 a.m. pacific time. Men's 3-meter diving prelims will begin at 10 a.m.
