USC Women’s Basketball Announces Nonconference Schedule And Pac-12 Pairings For 2023-24

The Women of Troy kick off the season in Las Vegas alongside the USC men before holding their home opener on Nov. 10.
USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has a talented Trojan roster lined up for action in the coming 2023-24 season. The Women of Troy have already dug into their official practice slate and are prepping for an exciting nonconference season that features a solid set of home games for fans to enjoy at Galen Center. The Pac-12 portion is taking shape, and the conference has announced the weekly pairings for Pac-12 play, with final matchups to come soon.
USC's 2023-24 campaign launches in Las Vegas with a marquee matchup against Ohio State at the Naismith Hall of Fame Series on November 6 at T-Mobile Arena. It'll be the first clash between the Trojans and Buckeyes since a visit to Columbus back in 2006 and offers up an early taste of what's on tap for the Trojans when USC joins the Big Ten Conference next year. That same night at T-Mobile, the USC men are also in action as they take on Kansas State in the men's portion of the Hall of Fame Series.
This season's home opener features USC's first-ever meeting against Florida Gulf Coast at Galen Center on Nov. 10 before the Trojans take on another first-time foe when Le Moyne comes to town on Nov. 13.
Thanksgiving week will be spent in the Bahamas as USC engages in action at the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship in Nassau. The Trojans square off against Seton Hall on the night of Nov. 20, with Nov. 22 bringing on another clash with future Big Ten opponent Penn State.
USC returns to California for the rest of 2023's competition, with a four-game stretch set for Galen Center. In-state opponents Cal Poly (Nov. 28), San Diego (Dec. 3), UC Riverside (Dec. 10) and Cal State Fullerton (Dec. 18) are all coming to town to take on the Women of Troy. The Dec. 10 date will also be a doubleheader with the USC men, who host Long Beach State that same day.
USC's nonconference slate wraps up farther down the 405 freeway, with the Trojans visiting one of their most historic rivals. USC and Long Beach State first met in the 1973-74 season, and the Trojans and Beach will do battle for the 56th time on Dec. 21 in Long Beach.
The always-competitive Pac-12 schedule is due to kick off on Dec. 30 with a crosstown clash against rival UCLA. Weekly pairings for the remainder of the season are in place, with final dates and times to come following television selections. USC's Pac-12 home stands feature the Oregon schools in early January, a mid-month battle with the Bruins and a late-January visit from the Washington schools. In February, USC hosts the Arizona schools and the mountain schools. In March, the Pac-12 Tournament returns to Las Vegas for action March 6-10.
