The Trojans open the 2023 season at third-ranked Boston College on Feb. 11

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - USC lacrosse kicks off the 2023 season with high expectations as it enters the ILWomen/IWLCA preseason rankings at No. 18.

Last season, the Women of Troy periodically made their presence known in the top 25 and were ranked as high as No. 13. The Trojans begin this season in the same spot they ended 2022 after they went 13-5 (8-2 Pac-12).

This year, USC will have plenty of room to maneuver in the rankings as it begins its season against No. 3-ranked Boston College at 9 a.m. PT on Feb. 11 in Boston. The Women of Troy will battle with three other top-25 teams with matchups set at No. 15 Princeton (Mar. 10) and a home-and-home series against conference rivals No. 14 Stanford (Apr. 2/Apr. 9) and No. 25 Colorado (Mar. 24/Apr. 14).
