No. 11 USC Men's Volleyball Sweeps King in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The 11th-ranked USC men's volleyball team (4-1) defeated the King Tornado (0-5) in a three-set sweep (25-16, 25-17, 25-16) at the Goldmine Gym in Long Beach on Saturday, Jan. 14.

- Fr. OH Dillon Klein put up his third straight double-digit kills outing as he led the Trojans with 11 on just 17 swings (2e) for a .529 hitting percentage.
- Gr. OH Kevin Kobrine posted a double-digit kill night as well, finishing with 10 while also recording four aces and two digs.
- Jr. OPP Simon Gallas hit .571 on the night, recording nine kills on 14 attemps (1e).
- Jr. S Nate Tennant dished out 36 assists to go with one ace, one dig and two block assists.
- For the Tornado, Warren Davis led the way with 12 kills and Jack Sarnowski posted 25 assists.
- For the match, USC hit .514 (better than 50% in each game), including a .550 hitting percentage in the opening set.
- USC had multiple blocks in all three sets, including 4.0 in a dominant first set.
- The Trojans also posted 11 digs in the third set.
- USC next heads to No. 7 UC Irvine on Wednesday, Jan. 18. That match will be shown live on ESPN+
