USC's Artem Selin Named Pac-12 Men's Swimmer of the Week

USC sophomore Artem Selin was named the Pac-12 Men's Swimmer of the Week after recently helping the Trojans to a victory over UNLV, as announced by the conference on Wednesday, Jan. 11. With the honor, Selin picks up his first conference accolade.

Over the weekend, Selin record two individual event wins for Troy, capturing both the 50y free (20.05) and 100y free (44.49).

The German native also appeared in a pair of relays for the Trojans, helping USC to a win in the 200y medley relay as he anchored with a 50y free. He'd later return to help Troy to a victory in the 200y free relay, swimming the first leg for the Trojans.

Selin and the rest of the USC swim team will be in action at home again this Saturday, Jan. 14 as they welcome UC San Diego and Denver to the Uytengsu Aquatics Center for a 12 p.m. dual. Live results will be available on the Meet Mobile App.
