Destiny Littleton Comes To Troy As Transfer For USC Women’s Basketball

A national champion, Littleton returns to her home state to join the Women of Troy.
LOS ANGELES — California product Destiny Littleton is returning to the West Coast to join the USC women's basketball team as a transfer, head coach Lindsay Gottlieb has announced. An NCAA champion at South Carolina, she brings savvy and skill to the backcourt for USC for the coming 2022-23 season.
"Sometimes life comes full circle. Destiny had her sights set on becoming a Trojan out of high school, but then played for two exceptional programs and is a National Champion," Gottlieb said of Littleton. "We are excited to welcome her back 'home' to finish her career and impact the trajectory of the Women of Troy. Destiny is a dynamic scorer who will bring shooting, playmaking and much wisdom to our team. She has such an accomplished past, and an incredibly bright future, and I'm really excited that USC will now be a part of her story."
A product of The Bishop's School in San Diego, Littleton was a 2017 McDonald's All-American and a Jordan Brand Classic player. She was ranked as the No. 9 guard in the nation and the No. 33 overall player in the Class of 2017.
Littleton is now the fifth newcomer to officially ink with the Women of Troy for 2022-23, along with transfers Koi Love, Kadi Sissoko and Kayla Williams and true freshman Aaliyah Gayles.

A 5-9 guard, Littleton played in 59 games in two seasons with the Gamecocks, competing in two Final Fours and contributing to South Carolina's run to the 2022 national championship this past season. She averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game and made 32 threes as a Gamecock. Prior to South Carolina, Littleton began her collegiate career at Texas, making NCAA Tournament appearances both seasons there. As a Longhorn, she averaged 7.2 points per game.
