USC Swim Finishes Fourth in 200y Medley Relay to Open Pac-12 Championships

USC's 200y medley relay finished fourth with an NCAA A-cut to open the 2022 Pac-12 Men's Swimming Championships in Federal Way, Wash., on Wednesday (March 2).
Troy, including the diving events from last week and two relays tonight, finished fourth Wednesday with 137 points. Stanford (207) sits in first, followed by Utah (183) and Arizona (148).
USC's 200y medley A-relay opened up the meet with a fourth-place finish, blasting a 1:23.76 as Vaggelis Makrygiannis, Trent Pellini, Alexei Sancov and Nikola Miljenic combined for an NCAA A-cut.
The Trojans' closed out the evening as Sancov, Daniel Matheson, Victor Johansson and Max Saunders posted a 6:17.03 (B-cut) for fifth in the 800y free relay.
The meet continues Thursday through Saturday with prelims at 11 a.m. each day and finals at 6 p.m.
