December 12, 2022 | Women's Lacrosse
LOS ANGELES — The USC lacrosse team revealed its 2023 regular season schedule this week. The Women of Troy are set for a 17-game slate with eight opportunities at home and a road-heavy itinerary with nine matchups. USC will begin its spring schedule on the road against the NCAA Championship runner-ups, Boston College, in a non-conference game on Feb. 11 at Fish Field House in Chestnut Hill, Mass.Â
The non-conference course will offer a slew of unique opponents, including their first home matchup of the season against Ohio State (Feb. 19). High Point (Mar. 3) and Villanova (Mar. 5) will also join the Women of Troy at home. On the road, USC will travel south to play San Diego St. (Feb. 24) and to the East Coast to battle Princeton (Mar. 10) and Hofstra (Mar. 12).Â
On the Pac-12 side, the Women of Troy open up the conference itinerary with a home bout against Arizona State (Mar. 17). USC will continue on this trend as they host conference opponents Colorado (Mar. 24) and Oregon (Mar. 26) on Soni McAlister Field. The remainder of the Pac-12 home matches will be filled in by California (Apr. 7) and Stanford (Apr. 9).Â
USC will match their total of home games to road games in the Pac-12, as they hit the road in five matches, starting with California (Mar. 31) and Stanford (Apr. 2). The final three road games will be in succession to end the regular season as they hit the rocky trail to take on Colorado (Apr. 14), Oregon (Apr. 16) and finish in the desert with Arizona State (Apr. 28).Â
After the regular season concludes, USC will head back up north to Berkley, Calif., to compete in the Pac-12 Tournament for a chance at the coveted Pac-12 Championship and an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. The conference tournament will occur at California Memorial Stadium, with the first round happening on May 3, the Semifinal on May 4, and the championship round on May 6. The Women of Troy 2023 schedule will include four Pac-12 Network games, including three home bouts and one away, with all other home matches set to be streamed on the USC Live Stream platform.
