USC Freshman Xin (Cindy) Kou On 2021-22 ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List

New Trojan among 20 golfers on list.
Freshman Xin (Cindy) Kou is among 20 women's golfers on the ANNIKA Award Preseason Watch List, as announced today by Golfweek and Golf Channel.
Kou, one of eight golfers from the Pac-12 on the list, was a 2020 AJGA Rolex first teamer who at one point was the top-ranked junior in the country.
The Beijing, China, native reached the round of 32 at the 2021 U.S. Women's Amateur earlier this summer.
She won 11 career AJGA events as junior, tied for seventh most all time among female golfers. That total includes 2020 victories at the AJGA Girls Invitational at Stanford (9-under 204) – her fourth win at the event – and the AJGA Longbow Golf Club Open (13-under 129). She also won the 2019 ANA Inspiration Junior.
Kou joins a Trojan team that is the defending Pac-12 champion but which is replacing three 2021 senior All-Americans.
