LOS ANGELES — The redesigned USCTrojans.com, the official website of USC Athletics, was unveiled today (July 29).
The redesign, done in concert with the Pac-12 and its official athletics website partner SIDEARM Sports, focused on bolstering the user experience for Trojan fans by showcasing a commitment to community engagement and USC's brand identity.
The new USCTrojans.com, which will continue to operate on both mobile devices and desktop platforms, features a clean, efficient design while adding tools and features that enhance the user experience.
"We are thrilled to launch the new USCTrojans.com," said USC athletic director Mike Bohn. "Over the last several months our team conducted a thorough evaluation of our website, and the focus of this redesign was to enhance its user-friendliness by creating a clean and efficient interface. The data and feedback clearly demonstrated the content our users most desire, and it was our goal to make that information as accessible as possible. We are confident our fans will enjoy this new digital experience."
In order to build the nation's best collegiate athletic website, USC conducted numerous online and in-person surveys to better understand how Trojan fans navigate the site. Then, analytics obtained from the surveys and other technologies, and information provided by a website consultant, guided USC's strategy to create an engaging, user-friendly, content driven website.
Users of the site will see a brand new landing page to buy tickets and a stronger overall presentation of gameday information.
Redesigned layouts on the main and sport home pages showcase various types of content in a vertical orientation, as well as photo modules that bring the accomplishments of USC's outstanding student-athletes and teams to the forefront in a dynamic way. Hubs for trending topics and relevant links on both the main and sport home pages are designed to point users to the most timely and relevant information.
USCTrojans.com provides comprehensive coverage of USC's 21 sports, including schedules, rosters, current news, feature stories and archived history, as well as links to Trojan tickets and merchandise and specific pages for such departments as compliance, development, community outreach, student-athlete academic services, athletic medicine and sport psychology. There are also links to all of USC's social media links for its various sports and departments.
