Kaylee Brownsberger and Kari Jensen collect their second straight academic honors.
USC women's water polo has a set of five Trojans on the academic honor roll with spots on the MPSF All-Academic Team for 2020, the conference has announced. With cumulative GPAs of 3.0 and higher, and who competed in 50 percent or more of the shortened 2020 season, the five Trojan honorees are senior Kaylee Brownsberger, junior Kari Jensen and sophomores Julia Rozolis-Hill, Grace Tehaney and Bayley Weber.
Kaylee Brownsberger and Kari Jensen now have repeat MPSF All-Academic Team honors under their caps in adding 2020 accolades to last year's selection. Brownsberger, with current 3.19 GPA, is set to graduate this week with a degree in health and human sciences and minor in nitration and healthy promotion. Jensen, too, is majoring in health and human sciences, and holds a 3.17 GPA. All-American Bayley Weber boasts the highest GPA of the group with a 3.29 as a sociology major. She and her fellow sophomores Julia Rozolis-Hill and Grace Tehaney became eligible for the MPSF All-Academic Team for the first time this year. Rozolis-Hill has a 3.14 GPA as a journalism major, and Tehaney — an All-American and the team's top scorer in 2020 — is majoring in communication with a 3.11 GPA.
Criteria for selection to the MPSF All-Academic Team also include at least sophomore academic status and at least one full academic year completed at their institution before the 2020 season.
