USC Announces Series Against National Power Kansas Set To Begin In The 2020-21 Season

The USC men's basketball program in the midst of the winningest five-year period in school history will play a home-and-home series against Kansas beginning in the 2020-21 season, it was announced today (March 26).

The series begins next season when USC travels to Kansas to face the Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 19, 2020. Kansas will travel to Los Angeles to face the Trojans at the Galen Center on Dec. 21, 2021.

The teams last played during the 2012 season and Kansas leads the all-time series 11-5. Ten of the 16 games between the two schools have been decided by 10 points or less, but Kansas has won the last seven meetings. USC last defeated Kansas 89-83 in overtime on Dec. 21, 1978.

USC went 22-9 during the 2019-20 season and Kansas went 28-3 to finish the season ranked No. 1 in the country. Since 2007, USC and Kansas are among the top 13 schools in the country for NBA first-round draft selections.
