Several USC T&F Athletes To Compete At Matador Qualifier Friday

Allen Jr, Brissett, Terry & Thomas will be in action
A limited number of members from USC' No. 4 ranked women's and No. 10 ranked men's track and field teams will be in action at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier in Lubbock, Texas on Friday, Feb. 21. The Matador Qualifier meet provides athletes around the country a last chance to achieve a NCAA Championships qualifying mark or time or to fine tune their craft.
This week USC will be sending Eric Allen Jr., Chanel Brissett, TeeTee Terry and Lanae-Tava Thomas to compete at the meet in Lubbock. Currently, Allen Jr. ranks 33rd in the 200m and 29th in the 60m with the top 16 declared athletes being accepted into the NCAA Indoor T&F Championships to be held March 13-14 in Albuquerque, N.M. Brissett is tied for 15th in the 60m hurdles, Terry is tied for third in the 60m and 12th in the 200m and Thomas is 18th in the 60m and tied for ninth in the 200m dash.
Next week the Trojans will be competing at the MPSF Championships on Feb. 28 and 29 in Seattle, Wash. which also represents a chance to post qualifying marks or times.
