All three runners post 200m season bests
Lanae-Tava Thomas won the women's 200m dash with TeeTee Terry taking second and Eric Allen Jr. finished second in the men's 200m at the Matador Qualifier in Lubbock, Texas today (Feb. 21).
Thomas won the first heat of the women's 200m with a season-best time of 23.02 which held up through the five heats as the overall winner. Taking second in the same heat and overall was Terry who matched her PR with a time of 23.19. The other time she ran 23.19 was during her freshman campaign which was the USC indoor freshman record in the event until Thomas broke it with a time of 22.91 at this same meet last year.
Eric Allen Jr. took second in his men's 200m heat with a season-best time of 20.83. After the nine men's 200m heat were concluded, he had finished second overall.
